Serena Kelleher-Vergantini is a Research Analyst at the Institute for Science and International Security. She assesses high resolution commercial satellite imagery of known and suspected nuclear sites primarily in Iran, North Korea, India, Pakistan, and Syria. Serena co-authored ISIS 2015 Plutonium and Highly Enriched Uranium Inventories, a collection of studies containing comprehensive estimates of plutonium and HEU worldwide. Serena also conducts research for ISIS Technical Assessment on Iran Nuclear Program. Serena holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Perugia (Italy), an M.A in Comparative Constitutional and International Law from LUISS Guido Carli (Rome, Italy), and an M.A. in International Affairs with a specialization in Intelligence and Weapons of Mass Destruction from The George Washington University (Washington DC).
