Kenneth N. Luongo
Partnership for Global Security
Kenneth Luongo is the President of the Partnership for Global Security. Prior to this position, he served as the Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Energy for Nonproliferation Policy and as the Director of the Office of Arms Control and Nonproliferation at the U.S. Department of Energy. Luongo also has served as the Director of the Department of Energy North Korea Task Force and as Director of the Russia and Newly Independent States Nuclear Material Security Task Force under the Clinton Administration. Currently, he co-chairs the Fissile Materials Working Group and is a member of the Nuclear Security Governance Experts Group and Global Nexus Initiative Working Group. Luongo received his B.S. in Journalism from the School of Public Communications of Boston University, and M.A. in International Affairs from the School of International Service of the American University.
